Project Objective

The main objective of SmartEdu is to create a complete online learning platform where students can access study materials, video lectures, quizzes, and live interactive classes — all from a single, easy-to-use interface.

This project showcases full-stack web development skills, real-time communication using WebSockets, cloud integration, and production deployment.

Was Built

Phase 1 — Concept
Idea & Planning
Identified the need for an accessible learning platform for Indian students. Planned the core feature set.
Phase 2 — Design
UI/UX Design
Designed the entire interface from scratch — landing page, student dashboard, teacher portal, and admin panel.
Phase 3 — Development
Full Stack Build
Built frontend with HTML/CSS/JS, backend with Flask, database with MongoDB, and live classes with WebRTC + Socket.IO.
Phase 4 — Launch
Deployment & Live
Deployed on Vercel + Render with Cloudinary for media storage. SmartEdu goes live for students across India.
